Driver Education classes are scheduled based on class size.

Class size is capped at 30 students. So make sure you register to guarantee a seat in our class.

  • All classes are Iowa DOT certified and include 30 hours of classroom instruction with four hours of instruction covering drug and alcohol abuse relating to driving.
  • There will be a minimum of six hours of driving instruction in our car in various driving conditions, including residential, highway, parking, interstate, and vehicle operation.
  • Classes can be scheduled at anytime once the minimum or maximum amount of students sign up. We offer this flexible scheduling to accommodate students wanting to earn their license without having to wait for a big class to fill.

Note: Students will be asked about their driving times with parents or adult. Iowa requires all drivers with a permit have a minimum of 10 hours of adult instruction prior to taking class. It is hard to pass the Drivers Ed class in-car portion with limited hours of practice behind-the-wheel.
